Braintree Sea Angling Club members had a disappointing trip to Denge Marsh in Kent to fish for the Solly Brewer Cup. With clear water and an offshore wind to aid casting conditions looked good for plaice however, the angling gods had other ideas. With the exception of Barrie Senior none of the anglers caught any fish. Barrie had six flounders for 144 points to take the match and the cup.
